Omega 3, 6 & 9 Oils in Capsules

Healthy tears are made up of a watery solution on a mucin layer with an oily layer on the surface to provide a smooth, non-evaporating finish. Dry eyes caused by blepharitis occur when the oily layer is limited by inflamed eyelids and blocked oil glands. 

Boosting levels of essential oils can help to maintain the balance of oils in the tears, especially when used with the Warm Compress Mask and Extra Gentle Tear Drops. The three treatments work well together to treat blepharitis and consequent dry eye sensations.

Omega Oils 3 6 & 9 are essential fatty acids that helps healthy tear production  and support healthy eyes and brain function. Your body cannot produce these by itself so it is important to add them to your diet either through the food you eat, or by taking a daily supplement like these convenient capsules.

Our Omega 3, 6 & 9 Oils are sourced from flax seeds. Each capsule contains 500mg of Essential Oils and is relatively pleasant to take compared with old-fashioned fish oil supplements.

Each capsule contains the optimal balance of Omega 3, 6 and 9 Essential Oils:
- Omega 3 (Alpha Linoleic Acid) 200mg
- Omega 6 (Linoleic Acid) 100mg,
- Omega 9 (Oleic Acid) 100mg,
- Palmitic Acid 15mg, Stearic Acid 15mg
- plus Vitamin E 10mg (83% of Recommended Daily Dose) to limit free radicals.

Patients comment that the capsules are pleasant to swallow, can be bitten into to ease swallowing without the unpleasant fish oil taste common among other Omega Oil supplements. Dosage: Adults and Children over 12 years of age - swallow 1-2 capsules per day, preferably with food. Not recommended for Children under 12. Warnings: Keep out of sight and reach of children.
