trip to the supermarket a nightmare

Within seconds of entering a particularly well known supermarket, my eyes become sore and start to smart.  I think it's the lighting, but it happens almost immediately.  Does anybody else experience anything similar? It make the shopping trip even worse than it already is! 

Hi Sally........yes! I also have problems going into my supermarket. I used to say this to my husband,who just raised his eyebrows and said I was getting paranoid. I have just joined this site and have been reading everything I can, and have found so many similarities in how bleph / dry eyes affects people on a day to day basis. Perhaps I should now suggest to my husband that HE does the shopping.  

Hi Sally. I have the same problem, if there is any type of air conditioning or warm air heating in offices or super markets my eyes sting like mad. I am trying all sorts of eye drops and treatments at the moment and will keep you posted if anything works. I presently wear prescription glasses everywhere but have very good eye sight, this gives them a small amount of protection from the air flow.
